Suman

Suman is a rice cake originating from the Philippines. It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves. It is served wrapped in buli or buri palm (Corypha) leaves and usually eaten sprinkled with sugar.(Thanks Wikipedia)

Once in awhile the nearest SM City presents food and artworks from different towns nearby. I enjoy buying "kakanin" especially suman. Other way of eating suman is deep fying it and then eat it with sprinkled sugar! yum yum!
