The popular movie channel has gone digital! Aside from maintaining its official website, HBO AsiaFacebook, just likeFemaleNetwork.com. And here are some of HBO Asia's special Facebook features. is now on

Over on the social networking phenomenon, HBO Asia has created a special page,http://www.facebook.com/pages/HBO-Asia/33697945612?ref=s, where weekly highlights and trailers of premiering blockbusters can be found, and fans can make use of Facebook’s in-built capabilities to comment on the channel and discuss various shows. Also found are custom applications on HBO Asia’s Facebook page that draw from its website real-time info about the Top 25 Movies and Top Rated Movies to give more information to fans about the most popular and most critically acclaimed films as decided by fellow viewers.

HBO has also introduced [Movie Buff] http://apps.facebook.com/hbomoviebuff/welcome; a quick and simple movie trivia game about the exciting titles offered on HBO every month. Questions are generated in batches of ten ranging from knowledge about directors and co-stars to identifying actors in movies. Trivia players can choose to play [Movie Buff] individually or against their friends, which gives them extra points. The highest scoring individual stands to win an iPod shuffle.
HBO also has its own widget, http://www.hboasia.com/hbo/widget, which is a handy tool that brings daily schedules of HBO Asia’s five channels – HBO, HBO Signature, HBO Family, HBO Hits and Cinemax – to a user’s desktop.
