Jeju Teddy Bear Musuem

The Jeju Teddy Bear Museum is where you can find everything you want to know about Teddy Bears! It contains two galleries, a museum gift shop, and a museum cafe. Also, on site is a museum bar/restaurant, a wonderful place to meet friends, family, and lovers. From the outside garden, there is a great view of Chungmoon (Jungmun) Beach.
Millions of people around the world collect Teddy Bears and they seek out old, unique, and valuable teddy bears for their personal collections. The Jeju Teddy Bear Museum opened especially for the European collectors and is more exciting than ever with special "Teddy Bear" entertainment. Teddy Bears have been loved and cherished since they were first introduced over 100 years ago. They are named for America's 26th president, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. According to legend, President Roosevelt went on a bear-hunting trip, but had not shot any bears by the end of it. One of his staff members caught a bear cub and lashed it to a tree for President Roosevelt to shoot. However, President Roosevelt refused, feeling it was inappropriate behavior for a sportsman such as himself. The story spread rapidly, and people soon started to make their own Teddy Bears. Morris Michtom, an American and Margarete Steiff, a German, were the first manufacturers to produce teddy bears commercially. The Steiff Co. was the most successful of the two toy companies. You can see many of Steiff's traditional bears in the Jeju Teddy Bear Museum.

Viewtiful View of Lotte Hotel (Back of the Lotte Hotel)

Right after checking-in and viewing the inside viewty of the hotel, i just put all my things in the closet and run outside this small paradise on earth. I saw this sculpt that greets the guests outside the building.

This is the VIEWtiful view in our balcony. You can see the resort, the garden, the skies, and the sea. This is the best spot of the building. This is my second favorite in our room, first is the bathroom ^^.. love it~
While taking a walk from the korean restaurant to Lotte Hotel, we saw a store of Jeju Island's proud the "super sweet tangerine" and i tried the free taste..and uhmmm so sweet and juicy~ but a little expensive..When you visit this island don't go home with out tasting it.

Had a seafood lunch in here.~~ super spicy seafood dish..while viewing the sea on the right side of it.

The mirror, me and reflection..
Great step~

This my room number that provides us with great room facilities. These include air conditioners within the rooms, cable and satellite connections, hairdryer, well stocked minibar, radio, telephone, personal lockers, full length mirror and a private bathroom. And it has its private balcony.Thursday, April 10, 2008
Lotte Hotel, Jeju Island

Checked-in at exactly 12:10 pm
Hotel Lotte Jeju Island
Super Deluxe Hotel

Lotte Hotels are very famous in South Korea, Its the top most hotel and really really pricey maybe because it is globally acclaimed. It offers interestingly combining the traditional beauty of Korea and the fascinating ambiance of the Lost City Hotel in South Africa. At the Lotte Hotel Jeju, there's first class restaurants where you can enjoy various delicacies from around the world, while gazing out on the distant Southern Sea.

Which way? I think we took the left way. ^^

So worried about the weather~ Based from my reseach, Jeju (Cheju) Island has the most comfortable and agreeable heat. But on our way there, its mistythat we can't even see the road. Good thing, its a one way road.

One of the best taxi driver in Jeju Island.. (how many are they?)

Bus ticket from Jeju Island Airport to Lotte Hotel

Airport
On my way to Jeju Island~ about an hour. Its an excessively emotions during this time..so happy and excited.

Jeju Island, also known as the "Island of the Gods," remains one of the top honeymoon destinations. The island's mixture of volcanic rock, frequent rains, and temperate climate, make it very similar to the Hawaiian Islands in the U.S.
